Each church has its own DNA, personality, character, and culture. And because of that, the vision for each church is accomplished differently from church to church.
A clear vision has some very important purposes:
1) It unifies and unites us – everyone fits into it – regardless of their age
2) It will move each of us towards spiritual maturity
The vision of Harvest Time is simple. 3 short phrases: Love God. Love People. Serve the World.
LOVE GOD
How are we to express our love for God? God tells us in Mark 12:30, “with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” We do this through gathering together as one in worship.
HOW? - Worship together
WHEN? - Sunday at 10 am
WHO? - Everyone: all ages
LOVE PEOPLE
Here, we continue to grow in community with others. Jesus not only gave the greatest command, he gave the second greatest as well.“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12:31
It is clear that God has intended that we “love people towards spiritual maturity” that we become part of the active role in encouraging others to grow in Christ. All of us are to continue in this process of maturity. We are to BUILD each other up in Christ. The thought is to literally “construct” each other in the love of Christ. Our coming together furthers that process.

SERVE THE WORLD
God's people should have a “people perspective." Our actions have the power to change the course of a person’s life. Serving others is not limited to missions work, but also includes your service to others through volunteering; whether at church or in your community.
